The anti Santa

Ok, I totally feel like I have let down all my readers who read this just to see what me and the kids are up. (I like to pretend that are like 5 or 6 of you.) I know I have been slacking, but life has been crazy.
Anyways, here are a few pictures of the ward Christmas party. Mostly I had pictures of Caibo because Jade wanted to sit with her friends instead of us. I guess we are not cool anymore, but I don't feel too bad. She wasn't the only one. Poor Albrights had pretty much all the 5 and 6 year olds sitting with them.

It turns out that Caibo isn't the biggest fan a Santa. He has better things to do like eat. I know. I'm shocked, too. Usually we can't get the kid to stop and eat. The only way we convinced him to get close to Santa was because he wanted the candy cane. The candy cane thing doesn't surprise me too much.

When we finally got him near Santa this was as close as he would get. He wouldn't sit on his lap. Yes, I'm shocked about this too. After all, Caibo has been known to poke random strangers and say "Excuse me sir. My names is Caibo"
This is way off subject, but the other day we were driving somewhere and out of the blue Caibo asked me what my name was. I told him and then asked him what his name is. He responded, "My names is Caibo, but my dad calls me dude and I say sweet totally."
Anyways, back on subject. They gathered all the primary kids on the stage to sing Silent night and Away in a manger. I used to whine about how small our primary is, but looking at this picture I take it back.
Most of the kids didn't sing. The kids in my primary class claim that they were distracted by Caibo being weird. You can't see it in this picture, but he was crawling around pretending to be a cow or horse or something like that. Yep, that's my Caibo.

Kids will be kids is all I can say:) I do and don't look forward to when I am uncool to sit with. It is so funny how we can be our kids favorites to the ones they are embarrassed to even sit by.
